Optics & Optomechanics

Our range of optics and optomechanics products comprises components for the extensive field of applications that involve the manipulation of light, especially lasers. Laser 2000 offers a wide range of standard products to this end. These include, among others, manual and motorized optical mountings and translation stages, as well as products in the fields of fiber, acoustic, and electro-optics.

It is very important to be able to fulfill special requests using customer-specific solutions. This may involve making a modification to special dimensions, creating a design out of special materials, or motorizing mechanical elements. These kinds of adjustments are often necessary for applications in a vacuum or for use in large series.

Beam expanders are useful laser accessories when the beam diameter must be increased. Typical laser for He-Ne (400 - 700 nm)

Half mirrors have a uniform 1:1 ratio of reflection and transmission for both linearly polarized light and normal light source.
Low polarization cube half mirrors can be used for broadband visible and infrared light. The hybrid coating is a special combination of metallic and dielectric multilayers resulting in a low polarizing and broadband coating.
Chromium cube half mirrors consist of two rectangular prisms. One of them is coated with chromium on the hypotenuse surface.
Dielectric cube half mirrors consist of two right-angled prisms. One of them is coated with a dielectric multilayer partial reflection layer on the hypotenuse surface.
